Englewood Cliffs NJ, at a special meeting on Monday the Englewood Cliffs council dismissed acting Borough Administrator Carrol McMorrow effective immediately and specified that she would lose access to the building, turn in her keys and lose her email access.

Notably absent was Mayor Mario Kranjac .This was the first meeting held after the resignation of council President William Woo. The council appointed Tim Koutroubas to fill that seat.

The council also fired Anne Marie Rizzuto, who was appointed just last month. She will however continue  her current involvement in any ongoing litigation. The council fired Eric Bernstein, who had resigned from his role as borough attorney but maintained his post as labor counsel and tax appeal attorney.

The council hired as acting attorney was Matthew Moench from the firm King, Moench, Hirniak & Mehta and will also serve as the clerk on a per diem basis. Moench is also the mayor of Bridgewater.

in the movie version, the protagonist *actually put the symbol on her dashboard*
    haha

  5. The Englewood Cliffs Council is trying to rein in an egotistical and dictatorial mayor, who is obsessively pursuing fruitless and counterproductive measures to resist affordable housing in the town, and who is illegally blocking access by his opponents to open town meetings on Zoom.
